Women Equality in Africa

African women have always played a vital role in the development of their communities. They are the pillars of society and they have struggled for equal rights.

In Africa, women are involved in every aspect of life including politics, education, economics and health. However, there is still a lot that needs to be done to ensure that they get the same opportunities as men in these areas.

There are many reasons why women face inequality in Africa. One reason is because they are not allowed to own land or property. In most cases, this means that they cannot inherit property when their husbands die; instead it goes to their children or other relatives.

Another reason is because there are few jobs available for women outside of agriculture or domestic work. This means that most women do not have enough money to support themselves and their families without help from others such as parents or husbands who may earn more than them through their own jobs which often pay more than those offered by employers who hire only men or those who discriminate against hiring both males and females equally due to lack of knowledge about what constitutes gender equality laws within each country’s legal system.”
