Who We Are
MISEDI Empowerment Initiative for Africa is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization for social development. We promote causes that affect women’s rights and empower women through entrepreneurship
and capacity building to foster women’s inclusion in economic development.
We are committed to promoting gender equality and aim to transform the lives of women and youths through financial inclusion, skill acquisition, access to export and local markets with a platform for networking.
Our goal is to support women to start their own businesses, get access to finance, market their products and services and acquire the skills needed to thrive. We believe that when women have these opportunities, they can change their lives, have a voice and be less vulnerable to violence against women.
Our Objectives
Women's Right
& Advocacy
We inform, educate and create enlightenment to respect women’s right.
We also advocate for gender equality and the rights of women
as well as a sustainable environment for women to develop and achieve their goals.
Empowerment
To empower women through micro and small enterprise development, saving schemes, skill acquisition training; gender & social inclusion and financial support.
Capacity Building
We build the capacity of women to achieve the change they want to see , be less dependable and take control over their future to improve their economic well being
We provide training , mentorship, business development services and organizational development .
Entreprenuership
We provide entrepreneurship development to underserved youth and women to start small and cottage businesses for job creation.
We also support them develop new income streams to aliviate poverty.
September Event
In the month of September Access Bank is collaborating with Misedi Empowerment Initiative for Africa to Empowerment youn people in over 10 skills acquisition across Abuja and Kano state.
November Event
In October African British Group is collaborating with Misedi Empowerment Initiative for Africa on the London investment summit, UK
